For individual payment methods such as ‘Pay Later’ (invoice), ‘Pay Now’ (payment by direct debit, credit card, instant bank transfer), ‘Financing’ (instalment purchase), Klarna reserves the right to obtain credit information based on mathematical-statistical procedures using credit agencies.
For this purpose, Klarna transmits the personal data required for a credit assessment, such as first and last name, address, gender, email address, IP address and data related to the order to a credit agency for the purpose of checking the identity and creditworthiness and uses the obtained information on the statistical probability of a payment default in order to reach a well-considered decision on the establishment, performance or termination of the contractual relationship. The credit report may contain probability values (score values) which are calculated on the basis of scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical methods and include, among other things, address data. Your legitimate interests will be taken into account in accordance with the legal requirements. The data processing serves the purpose of a credit asessment for  contract initiation. The processing is carried out on the basis of art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in protection against payment default if Klarna pays in advance. Data collection and processing on registration to pay via Paymorrow
In the event of payment via Paymorrow, personal data will be transmitted to the payment service provider Paymorrow (InterCard AG, Alstertor 9, 20095 Hamburg) and processed further there.

For the payment procedure “purchase by invoice”, Paymorrow will check whether the customer request for purchase by invoice can be accepted in view of any payment and claim default risks (acceptance check according to risk guidelines), or whether another payment method should be used in consultation with the online shop operator. For this purpose Paymorrow will carry out an in-house acceptance check after actuation of the desired payment method purchase by invoice. This requires an identity and credit check from the credit agencies named below.

For the payment procedure “payment in instalments”, Paymorrow will check whether the customer's request to pay in instalments can be accepted in view of any payment and claim default risks (acceptance check according to risk guidelines), or whether another payment method should be used in consultation with the online shop operator. For this purpose Paymorrow will carry out an in-house acceptance check after actuation of the desired payment method payment in instalments. The data processing is for the purpose of offering the chosen payment method as well as the credit check which is necessary for this. The processing will be carried out on the basis of art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent up to the withdrawal. Within the framework of the identity check you agree to your personal data being transmitted by Paymorrow to SCHUFA (SCHUFA Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65201 Wiesbaden). SCHUFA will then transmit back to Paymorrow the percentage degree of concordance between its stored personal data and those entered by you, as well as any previous legitimacy check carried out using identity documents by SCHUFA or another contracting partner. The transmitted concordance rates thus allow Paymorrow to determine whether a person is stored in the SCHUFA database under the address given by them. No further data exchange will take place, other addresses will not be transmitted and your data will not be stored in the SCHUFA database. Only the fact that your address has been checked with SCHUFA will be stored as evidence. The following personal data is required from you for the credit check to be carried out within the framework of the acceptance check: Title, first and last names, place of residence (street, house number, postcode, city); date of birth; phone number. The use, processing and disclosure of the personal data named above by the online shop operator and Paymorrow as well as the disclosure of this data by Paymorrow to the named credit agencies for the purpose of credit checking requires your consent.

Paymorrow reserves the right to transmit personal data for the above purposes to service providers or financial partners commissioned by Paymorrow or to grant such parties access to the data where this is necessary for the fulfilment of their duties.
We will of course respect the customer’s decision not to give consent. In such a case, however, neither the online shop operator nor Paymorrow will be able to comply with the customer’s desire for purchase by invoice.

Paymorrow or partner companies commissioned by Paymorrow may transmit your address information to credit agencies for credit checking on registration for purchase by invoice, within the framework of what is legally permissible and taking into account your protection-worthy interest in prevention of transmission or use. We will obtain information on the customer’s previous purchase and payment behaviour and credit information on the basis of mathematical and statistical procedures using address information (scoring - for calculation of probability of payment) for the purpose of credit checking from the following credit agencies, which store data for the issuing of information:

Our website uses the online marketing program "Google Ads", including conversion tracking (evaluation of user actions). Google conversion tracking is a service operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google").
If you click on adverts placed by Google, a cookie is placed on your computer for conversion tracking. These cookies have limited validity, do not contain any personal data and thus cannot be used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that you have clicked on the advert and were forwarded to this page. Every Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. It is therefore not possible to track cookies relating to the websites of Ads customers.
The information collected using the conversion cookie serves the purpose of producing conversion statistics. This allows us to find out the total number of users who have clicked on our adverts and were forwarded to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which could be used to personally identify users.
We use the extended implementation of the consent mode (Advanced Consent Mode). In this case, user data is transmitted to Google in the form of "pings" even if consent has not been granted. Google has certified itself in accordance with the TADPF and has thus undertaken to comply with European data protection principles.

Google uses cookies to analyse website use, forming the basis for producing interest-related adverts. Your data may be transmitted to Google LLC servers in the USA. For the USA, there is an adequacy decision of the EU Commission, the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework (TADPF). Google has certified itself in accordance with the TADPF and has thus undertaken to comply with European data protection principles.

Use of the LinkedIn Insight tag
On our website, we use the LinkedIn Insight tag from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (
Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland; "LinkedIn") for conversion tracking (visitor activity analysis) and retargeting (playing personalised advertisements).
The LinkedIn Insight tag places a unique LinkedIn browser cookie (conversion cookie) in your browser and allows the following information to be collected for that cookie: metadata such as IP address, time stamp and page events (e.g. page views). These cookies have a limited validity. If you visit certain pages on our site and the cookie has not expired, we and LinkedIn may recognise that you have clicked the ad and been directed to that page.
The LinkedIn Insight tag also allows LinkedIn to collect information about visits to our website, including URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics (user agent), and time stamps. We have implemented Pinterest’s conversion tag on our website for this purpose. This tag sets up a direct connection to Pinterest’s servers when you visit our website. This informs the Pinterest server which of our web pages you have visited. Pinterest associates this information with your personal Pinterest user account if you are logged into the social network. When you visit Pinterest, you will then be shown personalised, interest-related Pinterest ads. If you reach our website via a Pin on the Pinterest social network, a cookie for conversion tracking is placed on your computer. These cookies have limited validity, do not contain any personal data and thus cannot be used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our site and the cookie has not expired, we and Pinterest may recognise that you have clicked the Pin and been directed to that page. The information collected using the conversion cookie serves the purpose of producing conversion statistics and thereby optimising our website. These can involve the processing of, among other things, the following information: Total number of users who clicked one of our Pins and were redirected to our website, subpages visited on our website (e.g. category or product pages), search queries on our website, your shopping cart contents, completed transactions.
Your data may be transmitted to the USA. For the USA, there is an adequacy decision of the EU Commission, the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework (TADPF). Pinterest is not certified under the TAPF. The data transfer takes place, among other things, on the basis of standard contractual clauses as suitable guarantees for the protection of personal data, which can be viewed at: https://commission.europa.eu/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/standard-contractual-clauses-scc_en.
The use of cookies or comparable technologies is carried out with your consent on the basis of Art. 25 para. 1 p. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The processing of your personal data is carried out with your consent on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out with your consent up to the withdrawal.
You can find more detailed information on Pinterest’s collection and use of data and your associated rights and options for protecting your privacy in Pinterest’s privacy policy: https://policy.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy.

Plug-ins

Use of the Google Tag Manager
Our website uses the Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google"). This application manages JavaScript tags and HTML tags which are used in particular to implement tracking and analysis tools. The data processing serves to facilitate the needs-based design and optimisation of our website. The Google Tag Manager itself neither stores cookies nor processes personal data. It does, however, enable the triggering of further tags which may collect and process personal data. Use of social plug-ins
Our website uses social network plug-ins. The integration of social plug-ins and the data processing associated with this serves the purpose of optimising the advertising for our products.
The integration of social plug-ins involves a connection between your computer and the servers of the service provider of the social network which then instructs your web browser to display the plug-in on that web page, provided you have expressly consented to this. In this process, both your IP address as well as the information on which web pages you have visited will be transmitted to the provider’s servers. This happens regardless of whether you are registered with or logged into the social network. The information is transferred even if users are not registered or logged in. Should you be connected simultaneously with one or more of your social network accounts, the collected information may also be assigned to your corresponding profiles. When using the plug-in functions (e.g. by pressing the appropriate button), this information will also be assigned to your user account. You can therefore prevent this assignment by logging yourself out before visiting our website and before activating the button for your social media accounts.
