Precision Lawn Edging Powered by a Suitable Cordless Drill
Rasenkantenboy is a specialised lawn edger designed to create clearly defined borders between lawns, garden beds, paths and suitable fixed edging. A suitable standard cordless drill provides the drive, so the system does not require a separate powered garden tool with its own battery platform.
Rather than acting as a conventional grass trimmer, Rasenkantenboy is designed to create and maintain a defined cutting line along the lawn edge.
Straight Borders, Garden Beds and Curved Lawn Edges
Rasenkantenboy can be used on straight lawn and garden-bed borders as well as curved sections. Inside and outside bends and suitable fixed edging stones are among the intended applications of the system.
Cutting Wheel and Counter Blade
The cutting system combines a cutting wheel with a matching counter blade. Both components work together and are available as a coordinated replacement set.
According to the currently published specifications, these wear components use Hardox 500. The replaceable drive wheel is also specified as Hardox 500, while its shaft is made from C45 steel.
Replaceable Wear Parts Support Long-Term Maintenance
Key cutting, drive and mounting components are available separately. This makes it possible to service individual worn parts without automatically replacing the complete lawn edger.
The First Cut and Regular Edge Maintenance
Creating a completely new lawn edge can require more guidance and effort during the first pass because a defined cutting line first has to be established. Once that edge exists, it can be maintained by following the same line during subsequent garden care.

A Specialist Product with Its Own History
The Rasenkantenboy is based on a patented lawn-edging system and was featured on the German MDR television programme “Einfach Genial” in 2018. According to the company history, more than 10,000 lawn edgers had been sold by the end of 2024.
